TSE Operant Behavior System stanowi w pełni skomputeryzowane boksy Skinnera z wieloma wbudowanymi komponentami, zamontowanymi na podstawowej konstrukcji. Każdy pojedynczy boks jest odseparowany, wyciszony i oddzielnie wentylowany.

Wszechstronne oprogramowanie pozwala kontrolować ustawienia zadań w boksie i akwizycję danych. Harmonogramy zadań mogą być dalej rozwijane wg najnowszych zastosowań badawczych. Alternatywnie, można utworzyć unikalne harmonogramy zadań dzięki bardzo elastycznemu językowi programowania.

Specjalne konfiguracje boksów pozwalają na przeprowadzenie eksperymentów z zakresów wyuczonej bezradności i dawkowania leków. Zadania z Operant Behavior System mogą być również wykonywane z platformą TSE PhenoMaster – ten wszechstronny system do fenotypowania pozwala na studia zachowań w bezstresowym środowisku, w klatce bytowej zwierzęcia (zobacz moduł instrumentalnego uczenia się Operant Wall).
