Axion Biosystems’ proprietary technology introduces two significant advances to the field of electrophysiology:

novel microfabrication methods have been developed to produce low-cost, disposable multielectrode arrays
proprietary integrated circuits (IC) have been developed to eliminate stimulation artifacts, enabling simultaneous stimulation and recording.

The combination of these developments has been integrated into an easy-to-use system that allows for high-throughput cell-based assays and superior electroactive tissue diagnostics. Axion offers these MEA systems in both single and multiwell formats.
