Gas generator Geschko, hydroxen peroxide gas generator for decontamination by HVAC
The Geschko G60 is commonly used to decontaminate rooms and zones by heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC). The systemdecontaminates rooms and zones up to a volume of about 1000m³. This gas generator is made for surface disinfection and uses a hydrogen peroxide solution (H2O2) 30 to 35%. After the decontamination phase H2O2 decomposes to water (H2O) and oxygen (O2) without any residues.
The housing stands on adjustable feet. Electric supply takes place via a standard plug or a hardwired connection.
The used methods of dehumidification and supply of vaporised hydrogen peroxide solution into the enclosure are efficient and progressive. The enclosure has to be dehumidified beforehand by an external system, so that the hydrogen peroxide can be distributed better and faster.
The treatment with hydrogen peroxide is the most non-polluting method of decontaminating enclosures.
The neutralisation of the hydrogen peroxide gas has to be done by an external system, e.g. via a ventilation system (HVAC system). Optionally, the neutralisation process can be accelerated by PEA gas distribution system LiRo with an integrated catalytic converter.
Applications of hydroxen peroxide gas generator Geschko G60
The Geschko G60 can only be used for decontamination of rooms and zones (various rooms together), which have to meet the following criteria:
- gas tightness
- no open stored chemicals
- resistance to hydrogen peroxide of all materials and furnishings in the enclosure
The Geschko G60 is qualified especially for hydrogen peroxide. It is allowed to use only hydrogen peroxide solutions 30 to 35% and no other disinfectants.
