Data Capsule-Evo 4-channel data acquisition & analysis system

Code 17308UB

Provides accurate recording of isometric or isotonic tissue contraction/release. For studying effects of drugs or electrical stimuli on isolated smooth muscles (including uterus, trachea, gastrointestinal tract, vessel strips, auricle etc) under optimum conditions.

Classic pharmacology tool for research and teaching. Maintains the integrity of live muscle tissue for several hours in a controlled environment and provides accurate recording of isometric or isotonic tissue contraction/release.

Features

Versatile, feature-rich physiological data acquisition system

  • The DataCapsule-Evo by iWorx is a versatile, feature-rich physiological data acquisition system, with best-in-class software for data analysis.
  • High resolution (16-bit ADC) and high sensitivity compared to conventional recorders. Over 4+4 channels, plus 4 iWire channels.
  • Advanced and feature-rich system with eight digital inputs and outputs, a low voltage and high voltage stimulator, a built-in barometric pressure sensor, and four iWire inputs.
  • Each channel is independent, each having its own 16 bit analog-to-digital converter.
  • Set-up is plug-and play easy. USB connection to PC or Apple computers.
  • Versatile LabScribe software provided with the system for data acquisition and analysis.
  • Each channel is equipped with dual, low voltage, independently programmable 16-bit +/- 15V stimulators. Parameters for the stimulators, such as pulse width, frequency & amplitude, may be changed on the fly. Standard protocols include Pulse, Train, Step, Triangle, Ramp, and Custom.
  • Maximum sampling speed is 100,000 samples per second aggregate, which makes it well suited for a broad range of physiological recordings.
  • Input trigger to start recording
  • High resolution and sensitivity
  • Connections for a wide range of sensors, transducers, and other devices from Ugo Basile.
