The 316L stainless steel housing will last a lifetime and includes a viewing port for the UV lamp. The ballast and lamp combination output is extremely high in efficiency and UV intensity, with up to 16,000 hours of lamp life.

Ultraviolet sterilizers use ultraviolet (UV) light to disinfect system water, destroying any waterborne pathogens. In the Aquaneering multi-phase fitration system, the UV sterilizer is the final disinfection against bacteria and viruses before water reaches the tanks. Ultraviolet sterilization will also kill most waterborne algae.

Aquaneering Commercial Plastic UV Sterilizers use the latest in amalgam lamp technology and include UV resistant bodies with NEMA 4 power supply. Aquaneering Commercial Plastic UV Sterilizers are primarily for saltwater use.
