Carotid artery catheters for rats

Our rat carotid artery catheters (CACs) are made of polyurethane that has been specially extruded for an ideal fit with PinPorts™ and Vascular Access Buttons™. The straight 2Fr catheters connect to 25ga PinPorts or VABs; two-piece catheters transition to 3Fr for 22ga connectors. (In general, we prefer straight catheters are preferred because they are more reliable and less expensive to manufacture.)

Available with either rounded tips (for ease of insertion and to minimize trauma to the vessel wall), or square tips (for reduced cost on shorter-term studies)

Manufactured in a clean room, individually packaged and EtO sterilized
