Somark are leaders in lab animal identification. Originally founded in 2007, Somark moved to current headquarters in La Jolla, San Diego US in 2009 and set about developing innovative alternatives to the existing lab animal identification methods, which have been around for decades.
Somark offers the easiest to apply and read visual identification method, and the world’s only automated iID application process, plus another world first and leader: the smallest digital identification method - Digitail RFID Tag.
Since launching visual ID solution, Labstamp, in 2012 customers have used this system to identify over 2 million mice. Somark launched our Digitail Tag ID in July 2019 and it is now used around the world by leading CRO, biotech and academic / not for profit research organizations.
