Polyethylene PE tubing

Code BTPE-10
PE is one of the most commonly used types of tubing around the lab thanks to excellent compound compatibility. Our low density formulation (LDPE) and size choices are comparable to Intramedic™ tubing but without the hefty price tag. PE-50 is the most common size as it connects to 22ga swivels, luer stubs, couplers and PinPorts. BTPE-25 is a custom size designed to mates with 25ga devices. See also our co-extruded PE/PVC tubing which has a layer of PVC around the PE to minimize kinking. We do not recommend using PE for intravascular catheters due to its stiffness; polyurethane should give you better results. Sold non-sterile on spools of 30m (98ft). Do not autoclave. Not for human use.
