Features
The Cardio Microphone Sensor accurately converts heart sounds (mechanical vibrations) into electrical signals via an electret (condenser) microphone device. It is suitable for recording heart sounds in the frequency range of 10 to 500Hz, and is useful for phonocardiography and ballistocardiography. The microphone is ideal for use in a student laboratory.
The Cardio Microphone Sensor plugs into the PowerLab T1 or straight into a Windows or macOS® computer via USB connection, and can be used in Lt and Lt LabStation.
Applications of PowerLab Sensors Cardio Microphone
Used in Blood Pressure and Heart Sounds teaching labs, and to investigate the relationship between ECG events and heart sounds.
