Rat intermittent infusion and blood sampling

Infuse and sample using this low-stress technique from ourside the cage.

Catheterize two separate vessels and use this system to both collect manual blood samples and infuse boluses from outside the cage — all without touching the animal. The unique KVABR2TX/25 kit features a hollow swivel so that both lines connect directly to the Vascular Access Button; the lines will rotate as the animal moves (therefore, do not use this system if you will connect to a pump).

Both the blood collection line and infusion line uses PE/PVC tubing for minimal evaporation and terminates in a PinPort™ for simple, clean access with a syringe fitted with a PNP3M injector.
