AT-510 Optical Air Table

The AT-510 optical air table is the largest table in the TMC vibration isolation range distributed by Sutter Instrument, offering 152 × 305 cm of bench space for imaging setups that combine a microscope with multiple laser lines, scan heads, detectors and beam-conditioning optics. When the full optical path of a two-photon or light-sheet microscopy system needs to remain on a single isolated plane, the AT-510 provides the necessary footprint without compromise.

Magnetic Breadboard Tabletop

The plated steel honeycomb core tabletop carries a magnetic top layer with M6 on 25 mm centers tapped holes. A smooth top layer is available on request.

Active Vibration Isolation

An active air suspension system continuously levels the table and isolates it from vertical and horizontal vibration, even under the heavier and more distributed loads typical of multi-instrument imaging rigs.

Standalone or Mobile

The AT-510 is available as a fixed standalone table or fitted with leg braces and casters for easier relocation around the lab.

Applications

• Two-photon and multiphoton microscopy — multi-beam or multi-colour two-photon systems with independent laser paths and multiple detector arrays require the full 305 cm length to keep all components on-axis without secondary breadboards. The AT-510 is also the standard choice for custom-built mesoscale two-photon microscopy setups covering wide field-of-view preparations.
• Multi-equipment optical setups — light-sheet and lattice light-sheet microscopes with dual-objective arms and long free-space beam paths benefit from the extra length; all illumination and detection optics remain on the same anti-vibration table, preserving alignment between sessions.
• Photomicroscopy and videomicroscopy — high-content imaging stations with motorised stages, multiple filter cubes and automated illumination systems mount directly to the breadboard, keeping the entire setup vibration-free and easily reconfigurable.
