Filament Options

The P-30 is available in two filament configurations: The platinum/iridium filament is more efficient at heating and cooling, and is recommended for thick-wall and aluminosilicate glasses and applications requiring shorter taper lengths. The Nichrome filament is suitable for many standard applications and is more resistant to damage.
