Imaging and analyzing live cells under flow conditions often requires a complex substrate that provides both physiologically relevant environmental conditions and allows for the seamless observation of moving cells. Ibidi offers a solution for such studies: self-adhesive chemotaxis plates with an adhesive backing layer to which customized substrates can be attached.
These plates allow for the free observation of directed cell movement (both adherent and non-adherent) in 2D and 3D cultures. Available in 2-chamber Luer Lock versions, as well as 8 and 18-chamber variants, which reduce reagent consumption. We also offer polymer and glass cover plates for adhesive microplates (to be ordered separately), which are compatible with all of these plates. We recommend supplementing with adapters (clamps) for self-adhesive plates - they ensure easy and secure attachment of the cover layer to the bottom.
Advantages of adhesive microplates:
- Ability to attach plates to various, even non-standard, surfaces (e.g. plastic, glass, silicone and others);
- Ability to observe live cells (2D and 3D) under flow conditions;
- High cell walls reduce the possibility of cross-contamination between wells.
