Mouse continuous infusion with blood sampling
Catheterize two separate vessels and use a two-channel system to collect manual blood samples outside the cage without touching the mouse, all while infusing continuously through a swivel.
The blood collection line uses PE tubing for minimal evaporation and terminates in a PinPort™ for simple, clean access with a syringe fitted with a PNP3M injector or a Sarstedt capillary collection tube with a PNP3MS connector.
If your institute does not have a surgeon on site, in many parts of the world Charles River and Envigo can implant the catheters and two-channel mouse Vascular Access Button™ as a surgical service so that the animals arrive at your lab recovered from surgery and ready for use.
